Back in 95 over the holiday season, A Beavis and Butt-head Christmas special 2-parter came out. The first part “Huh-huh-humbug” was your typical Scrooge remake, with the expected outcome. The second part, “It’s a Miserable Life,” is actually a spoof of the classic It’s a Wonderful Life. Instead of George Bailey learning life lessons, Beavis and Butt-Head get to experience a reality where they’ve never been born, and everything goes horribly wrong. It’s ridiculous, crude, and perfectly captures the duo’s clueless charm. They don’t exactly spread holiday cheer, but their antics are so funny, you’ll be laughing the whole time.
What’s even more awesome about this special is that, deep down, there’s a bit of Christmas spirit. In their own weird, messed-up way, Beavis and Butt-Head stumble their way toward a holiday moment you wouldn’t expect.
