Another Hurricane? 🙄🌀

Here we go again. 🙄 Summer’s (officially) over, and fall is usually hurricane season. Hurricane Debbie washed us last month, and now Hurricane Helene’s heading our way.

Before you send hopes and prayers, just know that gators and canes are life down in the Sunshine state and locals always find a way to bounce back.

That being said, this is a weird storm! It came outta nowhere and we were issued hurricane warnings before it was even a storm! Everyone’s Phones sending alerts every hour which makes it look like synchronized phone checking!

Supposedly Helene will be the strongest storm to hit the US in over a year (that ain’t saying much). It’s been nonstop lightning and rain ⛈️ since yesterday, and I’ve lost half a tree out back. We will be staying indoors till it blows over. Hurricane partay! I got my bottled water and my genny (just in case).

It’ll clear out by the weekend— leaving us with some cleaning and mosquitos
