Keep them in our thoughts

Sam’s TeeMail Monday Nov 11th 2024

Today is Veteran’s Day, some of us have today off work, and I’m gonna give you some history.

It all started as Armistice Day, the end of fighting the first World War at 11am November 11th 1919 (11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month). In fact, it was designated an annual holiday by Congress in 1926 – well before WW2.

Veteran’s Day is the day we honor Veterans of the armed forces. They signed up to protect us and our freedoms.

I don’t mean to preach, it’s important to give respect to those who sacrificed in order to preserve our freedoms – Thank you

Stay safe,

Sam
