Part emo, part acoustic, 100% heartfelt, Dashboard Confessional, quickly became the voice of a generation in the early 2000s. Dashboard Confessional are an emo band from Boca Raton Florida (not a place you want to wear black for too long), they broke through the indie scene with raw, emotional lyrics that defined their early albums. In the summer of 2004, Dashboard Confessional recorded the song “Vindicated” for the film Spider-Man 2 and it played over the film’s end credits, this gained the band gained a sizable audience for their next release the following summer. Over two decades later, the band continues to tour and release music, staying true to their emotional roots while reaching fans worldwide.
