The first games in the Darkstalkers series were created for old-school arcade machines in 1994. Originally known in Japan as Vampire: The Night Warriors this 90’s fighting game by Capcom became known as Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors. The original Capcom game on Playstation included 10 playable fighters. The early Darkstalkers games pioneered classic fight ’em up aspects that were perfected in the subsequent Street Fighter releases.
