Talented country singer and musician, Charles Daniels could play guitar, fiddle and banjo from his teens. His music covered multiple genres in a career spanning five decades, including southern rock, country rock, country, bluegrass, blues and gospel. CDB was best known for his number-one country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. Virtually all of his charting singles was credited to the Charlie Daniels Band, but make no mistake Charlie was the driving force.
