Five New Jersey boys founded Skid Row back in 1986 and were destined for rock success. Mostly because original guitarist Dave Sabo was close childhood friends with one John Bongiovi and also tried out for Cinderella. Fast-forward 30 years, Skid Row are a multi-platinum-selling hard rock band, in fact their 2nd album Slave to the Grind was the first heavy metal album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 100. Despite Skid Row changing line-up multiple times, they have numerous hits and multi-platinum albums, even though they peaked in 1990 they are starting to record again.
