No, not the Disney princess obviously. This Cinderella is the Philly heavy metal rockers who were pioneers of the American glam rock and hair metal sounds. Cinderella’s albums Night Songs and Long Cold Winter spawned their bestselling hits and launched them to rock stardom. They had some recent tragedy in July 2021 when 2 Cinderella band members died on the same day. Keep the glam-rock heavy-metal memories alive in these epic graphic Cinderella T-Shirts which have a faded look as if you bought em at a concert in the 80’s.
Cinderella’s lineup was a prime example of ’80s glam metal done right. Frontman Tom Keifer packed some serious vocal power alongside his killer guitar work, while Eric Brittingham on bass locked down those deep, thumping lines that kept the band roaring. Jeff LaBar brought a scorching lead guitar style, sending riffs flying off the stage during their high-energy shows. And Fred Coury on drums provided the backbone, hammering out beats that were both powerful and precise. Together, they helped define that mixture of hard rock grit and flashy style, crafting anthems like “Nobody’s Fool” and “Gypsy Road” that stood out in a crowded ’80s metal scene.
Cinderella’s brand of rock was a perfect mix of swagger and soul, catching that sweet spot between glam metal’s flash and classic rock grit. Their tunes, like “Shake Me” and “Gypsy Road,” blasted out with raw riffs and Tom Keifer’s scratchy, bluesy vocals, grounding all the spandex and hairspray in some serious rock authenticity. They had a knack for churning out anthems that still get heads banging and lighters in the air, combining heavy guitars with melodic hooks that cut right through the noise of the ’80s scene. And no matter how big the hair got, Cinderella always kept their music rooted in that timeless, blues-drenched rock ‘n’ roll spirit.
