Happy Birthday Alice Cooper Banner

Happy Birthday to our King of Shock Rock!

Today, we raise our rock horns 🤘—and a stiff drink 🥃 — to celebrate the one and only Alice Cooper turning 77! 🎉

This legend didn’t just kick open the doors of rock ‘n’ roll, so much as blew them off their hinges, doused the place in fake blood, and lit it up with pyrotechnics. He is the undisputed Godfather of Shock Rock. Born Vincent Damon Furnier (check out why he changed his name), he’s been rattling skulls and terrifying parents for over 50 years—and I’ve loved every second of it.

Breaking Boundaries and Shocking the World

Back in the ‘70s, when rock was about flower power and peace signs, Alice Cooper gave us the opposite. With guillotines, pet snakes, and enough fake blood to stage a slasher movie, he turned concerts into full-blown horror shows. Tracks like School’s Out and No More Mr. Nice Guy weren’t just songs—they were battle cries for every misfit, rebel, and rock fanatic out there. And should we talk about the eyeliner? Alice Cooper is the only guy who can pull it off and make it his trademark.

The Undying Influence

And Alice wasn’t just a rock star—he was a trailblazer. His mix of macabre theatrics and killer riffs paved the way for legends like David Bowie, Mötley Crüe, and Rob Zombie. Let’s be honest here, EVERY SINGLE shock rocker since has been taking notes from Alice’s school of rock, and what a wicked curriculum it is. Even now, his influence is as immortal as his love for all things twisted. In fact… I sometimes wonder if he is immortal (a la Dracula)

Still Kicking Ass

At an age where most old guys are content to golf (which Alice does love, to be fair), he’s still out there rocking stages worldwide. He’s got more energy and enthusiasm than kids half his age (ahhh… kids today, etc). Nobody’s screaming School’s Out like they did back in ‘72, but everyone needs to hear it belted out by the man himself.

So how will Alice Cooper celebrate his 77th year on earth — he’s going on tours obviously! And it’s a big one.

Whether you grew up blasting his cassette in the ‘70s or stumbled on his Spotify playlist last week, Alice’s music unites generations of rock fans.

So, here’s to Alice Cooper—the guy who made the macabre mainstream and gave rock ‘n’ roll its bite. Thank you for giving us the anthems to scream, the chills to feel, and the unforgettable shows to turn it up to eleven.

…And hey, can we all agree that School’s Out should be the official anthem for the last day of summer semester?

Rock on forever…Happy Birthday, Alice Cooper!

Keep Rockin’
