As regular readers of my emails know, my landlord is raising my rent by 40%. So it turns out that all Miami landlords got the same memo – nothing is affordable. Anywhere, everything is Overpriced and Underwhelming!
Well, that’s a lie, there are some kinda affordable spots. BUT they are old, damp, falling to bits and very small. In the words of every realtor – “but at least you can afford to be in Miami”. So the choice is uncomfortable but in Miami or comfortable somewhere else. What a choice?!
On top of that, since the year started there have been more and more homeless population moving to Miami Beach. I think they are having a convention I don’t know about. Weird things are happening and change is a comin!
So now I have a big choice to make
My mood is one of anger towards greedy landlords. They all inherited their properties here and are trying to squeeze every buck out of it. It’s capitalism I get it, but it’s also just greed – Karma’s gonna get you buddy
