Jardani Jovanovich aka John Wick was born in Soviet Belarus an orphan, he was raised by a mentor and friend of his late father, Winston. He trained as a Hitman for the Russian Mob in New York City, where he took the anglicized name John Wick. But in the Hitman community at the Continental Hotel NYC he was known to the mob as Baba Yaga – or the Russian boogeyman because of his lethality. Future legend, Keanu Reeves plays the titular John Wick the hitman who wishes to retire, gets betrayed and then seeks vengeance against an impossible number of Russian assassins – across 4 movies!
