I like to start my week with some random thoughts. So I was standing in line at Walmart yesterday and I saw this couple in their 50’s, they looked like they’ve lived a life.
I don’t wanna judge books by covers. But. He was wearing an awesome old-school Dogstar tee (so not 1 of mine), and she was wearing what looked like a free t-shirt they give away at summer camp when you are like 14.
Me being me, I wanted to strike up conversation, I had to assume that he assume that he has good taste in general and she, well, doesn’t! Again, not judging books by covers.
So I am a closet Dogstar fan (don’t judge) so I asked him where he got it, turns out it was a birthday gift from his kid. We got chatting and he invited me over to their cook-out next weekend.
Anyway, the point of my story is this, T-Shirts are like a personal brand, a beacon, a badge and a conversation starter. We may not end up being lifelong friends, but we will have a drink and this bond was built through a T-Shirt, and not even one I sell!
So on that note, I will leave you with Keanu and let’s just get through Monday and see where this week takes us!
