Watching TV last night I decided to go old-school horror with some back-to-back Frankenstein on TCM. Now why would I do that you might ask. Sometimes I like to see the classics in the way they were made. What is talent these days? Well I can tell you what it isn’t!
So many movies today rely on special effects and computer generated graphics. So much of today’s music is full of autotuning and samples of other songs. Raw talent can shine through even modern-day fakery. Real talent from Brando to Pacino; and from Tyler to Houston – need no tricks to impress. Talent always shines through
So sometimes I like to rewatch the classics to see how it’s done
