You tell me? Let’s use sport as the basic example. If I walk into a bar and I see a group of people wearing red and yellow shirts and another group wearing turquoise. Using my knowledge, I’m gonna assume that the Kansas City Chiefs are playing the Miami Dolphins and it’s on TV. If I walk in wearing let’s say Vegas Raiders jersey, people will be at best confused and at worst won’t even notice or care. But that shirt is a statement!
Now let’s switch the scenario. Let’s say you are at a work event or conference with a bunch of strangers. You see a group wearing suits and ties and another group wearing Rock T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. It just so happens, that you are wearing your new Aerosmith shirt and clean Levi’s… who are you going to try to chat to? See? Your who is it? shirt is your statement tee, opening the door to chatting to the cool dudes in denim about music. I rest my case!
