Sometimes the anticipation is worse than the reality. But you don’t know that until you do. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, let me explain. Driving back from our evacuation in Miami, heading home wondering what we’re gonna find. Worrying about the worst case scenario is a terrible habit, but we all do it.
In the end, the house is mostly fine. It’s covered in whipped up dirt, stained, bumped and bruised – but mostly fine, thank God. The only thing that needs fixing is one corner of roofing. Anyone know a good roofer in Florida?
I’m aware that we got lucky, there are many less fortunate.
