So today at the local annual Seafood festival down here was not as fun as yesterday, mainly due to the overnight downpour ⛈️
The grassy field became a water-logged swamp. The wife is angry that her new sneakers were now gross and muddy. As for me, well flip-flops were a VERY bad idea! It’s weirdly unpleasant to eat shrimp cocktail with your feet sinking into muddy grass.
and with that glorious mental image – I’m gonna end this email. I’m gonna dry my toes, warm up and get ready for the big game!
