Welcome to Florida Everybody from the North! Welcome home class of 1913-1993! So many travellers arriving to the Sarasota area in time for the holidays. Everyone knows someone here it seems. There’s a gift shop with a shelf full of books called “Grandma lives in Florida”.
It’s nice seeing all these big families, I am seeing 3-4 generations of folks around the beaches of SRQ and it makes me smile. You hear people talk that there is no American family anymore, but Thanksgiving always busts that myth in my eyes.Â
Every family has it’s issues but they still wanna come together for the holidays and that should be celebrated because it doesn’t happen everywhere.Â
