The electricity is back on (thanks FPL), so we decided to drive back home today… and see what’s left!
Seeing as most everyone I know was mandatory evacuated I don’t have any neighbors to ask to check on the house – everyone is slowly filing back from Georgia, Alabama and beyond.
I write this email from I75 as I gas up the car. We are driving in silence as we are both wondering about what damage faces us on arrival – a very weird feeling
Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst…
