Look, not to be a hater, but if you rely on other peoples “ratings” before you buy your clothes, don’t read on. Let me make it clear Chinazon does NOT make fashion.

Let me say in no uncertain terms that buying a “slogan T-shirt” from Chinazon is NOT fashion – we don’t need to know that you like yoga, or you are mean before coffee, these are things that you do… also who f***ing cares? It’s not a fashion statement.

Buying a cheap tee shirt printed by Chinazon that says “People born in December make the best uncles because they are sagittarius and tall” is NOT fashion, it’s not even pajamas, it’s a novel on a shirt – it’s a gag gift at best. You are worth more than a $10 rag, so dress the part – it doesn’t cost much to look cool these days.

Chinazon gives Print on Demand and Love a bad name

Before I start, the first thing is that I can ensure the highest quality printing using the latest in DTG printing technology – I explain it in more detail here. We have been working for over a decade on advanced print methods to deliver the highest quality tees on a full range of sizes without having lots of wastage. We are very proud of our print quality at American Classics and hope you will be impressed too. We keep stock on most of our t-shirts but with such a huge range of designs or when they sell out we need to print more in-house which can take between 3 to 5 working days – again, I will explain in more detail.

Yes Chinazon also uses print-on-demand technology – but it’s not the same thing, not even close. Why – 5 reasons why…

1) Firstly, anyone can design anything and stick it on Amazon, no design skills, no experience, no knowledge just download stuff and go – no really, it’s that simple. To me, it’s like asking your toddler to design art for your house.

2) Secondly, there is no samples or testing, they just print what rando’s upload on the “print by Amaz*n”, no-one knows how it comes out til it’s ordered! It’s kinda amateur! But then again they don’t say that it’s gonna be good anywhere!

3) Third, in the rare case that my print or shirt is not up to scratch, I can quickly reprint it for you and get it you! I won’t even send it to you if it’s sh*t. Well Chinazon will keep reprinting the same thing expecting different results.

4) I only print in Alabama, with in-house experts and graphic designers that know the machines. Chinazon print wherever is CLOSEST to the customer, meaning that multiple different machines in different cities will try to print the same thing – so don’t expect miracles.

5) Finally, and probably the dealbreaker, the Chinazon algorithm filters “highly-rated” designs to the first page. Allegedly, most of those ratings are faked or paid (shock horror)! Regardless, if you are the sort of person who buys clothes based on internet ratings then please leave now!

Why so serious?

I am a HUGE supporter of small American businesses. Let’s give back to our people, let’s create jobs, let’s promote local trade. I get that some people have a chinazon drop-ship “side-hustle” to make ends meet. But in reality, we opened Pandora’s Box of chinese crap and then shipped it in a container to the USA, slapped it in an Amaz*n box which somehow legitimized the contents. A lot of American brands choose not to sell on Chinazon due to it’s unfair practises and because they allow people to copy so easily.

Before you tell me that Chinazon is busy employing Americans – it is also actively working to replace them all with robots and drones. Why are we so keen to get our goods tomorrow, why is that convenient? Perfection takes time, you can wait a week for your t-shirt.
