I am trying to decide whether to name-and-shame that moving company. “Alex” and “Eugene” from Staten Island NY, but very definitely from Mother Russia. Questions is, was that standard practise or was that daylight robbery?
They basically committed the modern daylight robbery. When we arrived to the new place they told me the price had gone up by another $1000 and I had to get it, in cash or they would not unload my stuff.
While I held my ground against the Russian attack, my wife had had enough and drove to the atm. She just wanted them gone and our stuff inside.
Oh… and then they demanded a tip! LMFAO
